SWS were contacted by one of our regular clients to assist with a specialized fishing operation in Danish sector, with a short notice and window of opprtunity, we managed to gather equipment from different parts of the world.
The customer also needed a tool to preinstall a 1-1/8"OD Drop Ball that would allow for circulation when running in hole. After latching the stuck object the drop ball would be released to activate a disconnect 5,000 feet further down.
SWS managed to design, manufacture & function test the SWS Ball Drop Sub within the timeline that was set. The customer witnessed the test at our facilities and was extremely pleased.
